Brian Batka is a New York based post-production supervisor for television.


With over 15 years of experience as a post-production supervisor, he has overseen more than 350 hours of content for A&E, Cooking Channel, Investigation Discovery, Animal Planet, WEtv, Food Network and MTV.


Previously, he worked as a post-production coordinator on feature docs.  Some notable films include Jonathan Demme’s “Jimmy Carter: Man From Plains," for Sony Pictures Classics, and “Pressure Cooker," for Participant Media.


For the past nine years, Brian has post supervised on “The First 48” for A&E, a long-running series following homicide detectives.


He is an active member of the Producer’s Guild of America and Post New York Alliance.


Previously, Brian was a co-chair of the PGA East Seminars Committee & an AP Council Delegate, where he produced the three-part post-production seminar series, “How to Stop Worrying & Start Loving Post”.  He also guest paneled a discussion on the topic, “File Based Storage and Workflows - from Acquisition through Post Production” at the Content & Communications Expo in New York City.


Most recently, Brian produced the joint PGA-PNYA seminar, “Post Momento: Working Backwards from Final Delivery Through Offline.”
